For all fabrics made from natural fibers such as wool and silk, this product processes pure organic olive oil into a soap that cleans, cares, and reconditions excellently. Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk avoids chemical surfactants and instead relies on a natural sugar surfactant, which forms a soap base that is easy to handle even in hard water and retains all positive properties. The olive oil, rapeseed oil, and sunflower oil, as well as the essential lavender oil, which provides a pleasant scent, come 100% from certified organic cultivation.

Application Area Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk 1 Liter

Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk is suitable for all washable, colored textiles, delicate laundry, silk, and wool from 20°–40 °C. The correct dosage of the detergent plays a major role in achieving the ideal washing result. Note: The detergent should not be applied directly to dry clothing, as it may alter the color of sensitive fabrics.

Origin and Properties of the Ingredients

Olive Oil: For centuries, olives have been cultivated in Italy, Spain, Greece, and the entire Mediterranean region. Through mechanical processes like pressing and centrifuging, olive oil of the highest biological quality is obtained. This, saponified with potassium hydroxide, forms the main component of Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for a mild reconditioning soap. Its balanced fatty acid composition, healing effect on the heart and circulation, and the unique development of the olive tree in a seven-year cycle reveal the remarkable closeness and relationship of this plant to humans. Rapeseed Oil Soap/Sunflower Oil Soap: The cleaning power of the olive detergent is enhanced by plant oil saponified with potassium hydroxide. In our temperate Central European climate, only a few oil fruits can be organically cultivated. These include rapeseed, flax, and sunflower. Ethanol: Ethanol is produced by fermenting starchy plants such as corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps to keep the soap liquid and simultaneously improves the fat-dissolving power of the detergent. Sugar Surfactant: The sugar surfactant used is derived from sugar, starch, and coconut fat. The proportion of sugar surfactant is adjusted to the soap content of the detergent so that it serves to keep the lime soap formed in hard water finely dispersed in suspension and to prevent it from settling on the laundry.
