Product Feature Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk 5 Liters

Valuable pressed olive oil is processed into a soap in this product, which possesses excellent cleaning, caring, and re-greasing properties for textiles made of wool and silk. With the help of sugar surfactant, a fine detergent based on soap is created, which is easy to handle even in hard water and retains all the positive properties of a soap detergent. The olive oil, rapeseed oil, and sunflower oil as well as the essential lavender oil come 100% from certified organic cultivation.

Application Area Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk 5 Liters

For all washable colored textiles made from cotton, linen, hemp, microfibers like fleece, softshell, Goretex, as well as blends, from 20–40 °C.

For optimal washing results, the correct dosage of the detergent is of great importance.

Origin and Properties of the Ingredients

Olive Soap: From centuries-old olive groves in the Mediterranean regions of Italy, Spain, and Greece come the fruits from which olive oil is obtained in certified organic quality through mechanical processes such as pressing and centrifugation. Saponified with potassium lye, it forms the main component of Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for a mild re-greasing soap. Its balanced fatty acid composition, its healing balancing effect on heart and circulation, and the remarkable development of the olive tree plant in the 7-year cycle show the special closeness and relationship of this oil to humans. Rapeseed Oil Soap / Sunflower Oil Soap: Plant oil saponified with potassium lye is used to enhance the washing power. Rapeseed, flax, and sunflowers are among the few oil fruits grown in our temperate Central European climate for oil production, also in certified organic quality. Ethanol: Obtained by fermenting starchy plants like corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps to keep the soap liquid and at the same time improves the fat-dissolving power of the detergent. Sugar Surfactant: Sugar, starch, and coconut fat are the raw materials for the sugar surfactant used. The proportion of sugar surfactant is adjusted to the soap content of the detergent so that it serves to keep the lime soap formed in hard water finely distributed in suspension and to prevent it from settling on the laundry.

Storage

Store between 10 and 25°C if possible. At temperatures below 10 °C, the product changes and becomes somewhat firmer and cloudy, which disappears again in the warmth, if necessary, by slight shaking.
