The Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk Sensitive is free from dyes and fragrances, making it suitable for allergy sufferers. Valuable pressed olive oil is used to create a soap that combines optimal cleaning, caring, and re-greasing properties for textiles made from wool and silk. The detergent is easy to handle even with hard water while retaining all the beneficial properties of a soap detergent. The olive oil and rapeseed oil/sunflower oil are entirely sourced from certified organic cultivation.

Application Area Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool & Silk Sensitive 1 Liter

The Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk Sensitive is suitable for delicates, wool, and silk for a temperature range up to 40°C. You can wash your laundry both in the washing machine and by hand.

Application and Dosage

Place the Sonett Olive Detergent for Wool and Silk Sensitive in the detergent compartment. Ensure that the detergent concentrate does not accidentally come into contact with dry laundry. Sensitive fabrics could change color as a result. Dosage in a 4.5 kg washing machine, hardness range soft + medium: 60 ml, hardness range hard: 90 ml.

Recommendation

Add Sonett Laundry Rinse to the fabric softener compartment: 40 ml per wash. Refreshes sensitive colors, helps rinse out detergent residues better, and smooths the fibers.

Hand Wash

Add 15–30 ml per approximately 5 liters of water to the running water, then place the laundry items in it. Move gently. Match the rinse water temperature to the wash water to avoid temperature shocks.

Origin and Properties of the Ingredients

Olive Soap: The fruits come from olive groves in the Mediterranean regions of Italy, Spain, and Greece, from which olive oil is obtained in controlled organic quality through mechanical processes such as pressing and centrifugation. It forms the main component of Sonett Olive Detergent when saponified with potassium hydroxide. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for a mild re-greasing soap. Its balanced fatty acid composition, its healing and balancing effect on the heart and circulation, and the remarkable development of the olive tree plant in a 7-year rhythm show the special closeness and relationship of this oil to humans. Rapeseed Oil Soap/Sunflower Oil Soap: Plant oil saponified with potassium hydroxide serves to enhance the washing power. Rapeseed, flax, and sunflower are among the few oil fruits cultivated for oil production in our temperate Central European climate, also in controlled organic quality. Ethanol is produced by fermenting starch-containing plants such as corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps keep the soap liquid and simultaneously improves the fat-dissolving power of the detergent. Sugar Surfactant: Sugar, starch, and coconut fat are the raw materials for the sugar surfactant used. The proportion of sugar surfactant is balanced with the soap content of the detergent so that it serves to finely distribute the lime soap formed in hard water in suspension and prevent it from settling on the laundry.
